We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to support high-availability platforms within the Gambling & Casinos industry. You will build, automate and maintain reliable infrastructure and delivery pipelines, enabling secure, compliant and scalable services. This role is based in Liège. Salary: Competitive (DOE).

Key responsibilities

  • Design, deploy and maintain cloud and on-prem infrastructure to meet uptime, performance and resilience targets.
  • Build and optimise CI/CD pipelines, improving release frequency while reducing risk and downtime.
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation or Ansible.
  • Administer containerised platforms (Docker, Kubernetes) including observability, scaling and upgrade strategy.
  • Manage monitoring, logging and alerting (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK, Splunk) and drive incident response.
  • Harden systems and support security and compliance requirements (e.g., encryption, secrets management, audit trails, access controls).
  • Collaborate with engineering to improve reliability, performance testing, capacity planning and disaster recovery.
  • Support on-call rotations, post-incident reviews and continual service improvement.

Required skills & experience

  • Commercial experience in DevOps/SRE or similar roles, supporting production services with strict SLAs.
  • Strong Linux administration, networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, TLS, load balancing) and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure or GCP) and cloud-native services.
  • Proficiency in scripting/programming (Bash, Python and/or Go) and automation best practices.
  • Solid knowledge of Git workflows and pipeline tooling (e.g., GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
  • Security-minded approach, including vulnerability management, least-privilege IAM and secure CI/CD.
  • Comfortable working in regulated environments; understanding of data protection and operational controls.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.

Desirable

  • Experience with multi-region architectures, high-traffic transactional systems and low-latency optimisation.
  • Knowledge of service mesh, API gateways and message queues/streaming (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ).
  • Familiarity with configuration management, secrets tooling (e.g., Vault) and policy-as-code.
